Is thyroid nodule size a factor to consider when deciding for fine-needle aspiration procedure?

Introduction: Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) is the most accurate diagnostic approach for determining thyroid nodule malignancy. Most nodules are benign, therefore, only suspicious ones require FNA.
